Charlene Henry, 90, of Bowling Green

Mrs. Charlene Gladys Collins Henry, age 90 of Bowling Green and formerly of Todd County, passed away at 11:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 124 Green Street, Guthrie, with Rev. Kenneth Day officiating.  Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Charlene was born on November 8, 1935, in Glasgow, KY.  She retired from the Todd County School Board, where she worked in the cafeteria, and also from the cafeteria of the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Guthrie.  She loved to cook and take care of her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel R. and Gladys Mosby Collins, her husband, Charles T. Henry, her sons, Charles Ray Henry and Floyd Lee Henry, her daughter, Diana Murrell, her brother, Elbert Lee Collins, her sisters, Edna Collins, June Davis, and Lucy Slaughter.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Henry, and his wife, Lora of Guthrie; her daughter, Mary Gray of Bowling Green; her brother, James Ellis, and his wife, Kelly of Evansville, IN; her sister, Seretha Patterson of Louisville; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
