The Todd County Game and Fish Club is offering a free hunter education safety class to help students earn their hunter education card.
The three-day course will take place Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28 at the 1976 Todd County Courthouse, with the exception of Saturday’s meeting.
Thursday and Friday’s classes will begin at 6 p.m. and run until around 9 p.m. at the courthouse, located at 200 E. Washington St. in Elkton. Saturday’s class will take place at the Todd County Gun Club from 7 – 8 a.m.
Students must attend all sessions in order to receive their hunter education card. The course is open to ages nine and above, but isn’t required until age 12. Kentucky law requires anyone age 12 or older to complete a hunter education course before legally hunting in the state.
Pre-registration for the course is required. Sign up HERE.
