TCCHS Baseball Holding Diamond Club Dinner Fundraiser With Former MLB Guest Speaker

The Todd County Central High School Baseball Team is holding its second annual Diamond Club Dinner Saturday, Feb. 7, with a former MLB pitcher as its guest speaker.

Coach Chris Driskill says there are 150 tickets available for the event, which will take place in the high school cafeteria. He adds anyone and everyone is invited to attend, and he hopes the dinner will strengthen the relationship between team members, families, alumni, fans and the community.

Driskill says the event is also an opportunity for the community to meet the team – he notes he has a good group of boys this year and he’s excited for the upcoming season. Driskill shares he is really prioritizing fostering what he calls a “winning program.”

He says one way of doing this is by sharing success stories and actionable takeaways from high-level guest speakers, like David Pember, former MLB pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers, who will be speaking at the event.

Driskill says as a small school, they are always looking for additional funds. He adds there will always be some needed field maintenance, but upgrading the team’s gear and equipment is probably the biggest priority for the program this year.

Driskill thanks everybody in the community who has already given to the program, and says he is so excited for the 2026 season. Tickets are available through any current baseball players, their parents or coaches, or through the TCCHS front office.
