On Monday, January 26, Secretary of State Michael Adams will certify all candidate names with the state’s county clerks, and the last day to file a petition for a local option question on the May primary ballot is Tuesday, January 27.
The May Primary Election will be Tuesday, May 13, 2026.
Additionally, Zollie Rose has filed for the Guthrie Mayor position. Non-partisan races like mayor, city councils, etc., have until June 2, 2026, to file their intent to run, and those opting to be “write-in” status have until August 24th.
