The WEKT Winter Heater Drive kicked off with great success on Wednesday morning, but more donations are needed to help Todd County residents in need this winter.
WEKT Team Leader John Morgan Francis said this donation drive comes after the “very successful” Cooling Our Communities campaign over the summer.
One of the donors during Wednesday morning’s broadcast was Todd County Clerk Cynthia O’Bryan, who shared it’s important to help your neighbors.
O’Bryan issued a challenge to all local government officials.
Haley Hardware and Rentals in Elkton will collect the heaters through Wednesday morning, January 14th, so donations can be handed over to the Todd County PACS office for distribution to those most in need.
