
UPDATE: As of Thursday morning, January 8, this boil water advisory has been lifted. The water was tested and is safe for consumption.
The Todd County Water District issued a boil water advisory on Tuesday afternoon for several customers.
According to the water district, the advisory is in effect for 2749-8580 West Jeff Davis Highway, 0-375 Stringtown Road, 0-2250 Tress Shop Road, 2900-8000 New Highway 68W, and all of Keiths Trail, Taylors Chapel Road, Mullin Road, Arthur Henderson Road, Roger Q Mill Road, B Hall Road, Morton Lane, Fulcher School Road, Maton Road, and Stokes Road.
Officials said the advisory is due to service on a main line and will remain in effect until further notice.
During a boil water advisory, it is recommended that water be brought to a rolling boil for at least three minutes before consumption.
