A man and woman were severely injured in a wreck on US 68 at Gates Road in Todd County Friday night.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say just after 9 pm, a truck driven by 28-year-old Juan Garcia was westbound when it crossed over the eastbound lanes, ran off the road, hit a utility pole, then a fence and a tree before coming to a stop.
Garcia and his passenger, 29-year-old Aniah Morales, suffered severe injuries and were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Kentucky State Police were called to help investigate the crash.
Deputies were assisted by Todd County EMS, Todd County Rescue, and Elkton Fire Department.
