Todd County Schools has officially introduced a new mobile app designed to serve as a one-stop shop for TCCHS and TCMS sports. According to Athletic Director Mike Smith, the goal is simple but ambitious — to make this app the central communication hub for all things Todd County athletics.
Every sport and club has its own dedicated page within the app. Fans can find team rosters complete with head shots, action cover photos, schedules, sponsors, fan gear, and direct links to additional information. News updates are available both by individual sport and through an overall seasonal news feed, allowing users to follow exactly what matters most to them.
One of the most popular features is customization. Users can select which sports they want to follow and choose how much information they receive. Notifications can range from general updates to in-game score and action alerts, making the app useful for casual fans, parents, and die-hard supporters alike.
Accessibility was a major priority in developing the app. Smith emphasized that simplicity is one of its biggest strengths. Smith described the app as including “about everything except the kitchen sink,” noting that its long-term potential goes well beyond schedules and scores. School officials see it as a way to streamline communication, improve recognition for student-athletes, enhance score tracking, support fundraising efforts, and strengthen the connection between teams and the community.
