South Todd Elementary School is hosting a book fair courtesy of the Addie and Baylor Kirchgessner Foundation on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The foundation was established by a Louisville family to honor the memory of their two young children, who were tragically killed in a 2020 accident. Guided by the mission to “Love, Help, Laugh,” the non-profit focuses on closing the literacy gap by providing over 100,000 free books and renovating school libraries across Kentucky and Florida. Beyond literacy, the foundation supports youth sports and first responders, turning a profound family loss into a legacy of community empowerment and joy for thousands of children.
The book fair was held recently at North Todd Elementary School. Donations for the organization can be made here.
