Local author Carolyn Wells will have two pop-up events this week for her newest book, “Notables of Todd County II.”
Wells will be selling and signing books Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 2-4 p.m. at Something Special, and again Friday, Dec. 19 from 4-6 p.m. at Hip Harvest, who will be extending their hours that day for the pop-up event. Both businesses are located on Elkton’s Public Square.
“Notables II,” the companion to previous work “Notables of Todd County,” features over 35 new stories on the notable people and places who make up the Todd County community.
The books will be available for $30, or a $35 version which includes a special note from the author.
Proceeds from the book goes directly to the historic Green River Academy to fund its restoration and rehabilitation efforts.
For those who can’t make it to the pop-ups, books are also available via the Green River Academy’s website.
