The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for all of Western Kentucky until midday, with dangerously cold temperatures in the region through Monday.
National Weather Service lead forecaster Justin Gibbs says wind chills are below zero basically everywhere now and look on track to go as low as 10 to 13 below in places this morning. The cold weather advisory remains in effect for most of the region (and its still very cold everywhere obviously).
Very cold overnight lows in the single digits are forecast tonight before things start to warm up a little. The threat for wintry precip has ended for now.
