Kentucky State Assessments Show Further Achievements In Todd County

As the Todd County School District continues to analyze the recent statewide accountability results, the county continues to see outstanding performances among its schools.

Previously, the district found North Todd Elementary achieved the highest rating possible in the accountability ratings model, earning an overall “blue” classification out of a range from red (lowest) to blue (highest).

Upon further analysis, Superintendent Jessica Addison says this week the district found North Todd Elementary School scored the 11th highest in overall test scores among elementary schools in the Commonwealth. Further, the school also showed the second most positive change in the reading and math indicators in the state.

Addison says she is beyond proud of the students and staff of North Todd for their hard work and dedication to learning at high levels.

The district has a celebratory reception planned for the evening of Monday, Dec. 8, where the district will recognize all Todd County Schools staff for their contributions to student success. At the Board of Education meeting the same evening, the district also plans to recognize all students who scored a distinguished rating in this year’s Kentucky State Assessment.
