Cyber security becomes increasingly important every day as companies and organizations expand the technology they use. The same is true for governmental entities, which is why the Todd County Fiscal Court recently underwent a cyber security review.
Fiscal Court utilized a service from the Kentucky National Guard to evaluate its system. Lieutenant Colonel Dayna Sanders says this is good practices.
The Cyber Security Program reviewed all offices over two weeks.
She says the assessment will help the county be safe.
Recommendations included multi factor authentication, virus protection, replacement schedules, and network segmenation.
Sanders shared more detailed results with each individual office Friday following the special called Fiscal Court meeting.
