An airplane made a successful emergency landing in Todd County Thursday morning.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White says the instructor and student were able to land the plane in a wheat field off of Old Trenton Road around 10:55 am.
White says no one was injured, adding the plane had an issue with its throttle cable, leading to the emergency landing.
A mechanic has been called and prepare the plane to fly again out of the wheatfield Thursday afternoon.
Deputies were assisted by the Trenton Fire Department and Todd County EMS.
