
On Tuesday, November 4, members of the Todd County Central High School Beta Club proudly represented their school at the Kentucky 3rd District Beta Competition.
The event brought together students from across the district to compete in a variety of academic and creative categories.
The competition was divided into two divisions: Division I for 9th and 10th graders, and Division II for 11th and 12th graders. During the opening session, Amonzo Osborne led members in reciting the Beta Pledge before officially transferring his role as 3rd District Vice President to Za’Miah King, continuing the club’s strong tradition of leadership.
Todd County students also placed in multiple events, earning top placements in several categories:
- Agriculture Division II: 1st Place – Joe Anthony Tabor
- Art Drawing: 2nd Place – Simon Garner
- Spanish Division I: 1st Place – Katelynn Cortes
- Social Studies Division I: 2nd Place – Kathryn Ballard
- Spelling Division I: 1st Place – Lucas Stratton
- Spelling Division II: 2nd Place – Lizzy Langley
- Creative Writing: 1st Place – Jayden Stanton
In addition to these outstanding individual achievements, Omar Figueroa-Navarrete was named the Kentucky Third District Scholarship Winner, a recognition of his dedication and excellence.
Todd County Central’s Beta Club also earned 2nd place in the overall sweepstakes, highlighting their hard work, talent, and the dedication these members have had to their club.
