While businesses on the Elkton Square celebrate Christmas Open Houses this weekend, one local business is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Todd County Public School FRYSC programs.
A timely chance to win a seven-foot Christmas tree, fully decorated, is taking place at Something Special. The fundraiser was the idea of Kathy Morgan, who is the Elkton Modern Woodmen agent.
Morgan funded the tree and decorations apart from her business and is raising funds in honor of her friend, former Todd County Clerk Leslie Cunningham, who passed away in 2019.
Raffle tickets are available at Something Special or Kathy’s Modern Woodmen office in Elkton for $5 each or three for $10. All proceeds will be donated to the FRYSC programs, with Morgan hoping to raise $1,500.
The winner will be drawn on Saturday, November 15th.
