The Elkton City Council has chosen Wade Griffin as its newest member.
Griffin was appointed during a special meeting held on Thursday night, filling the seat left vacant by former Councilman David Powell.
Griffin will serve the remainder of the current term, which is set to conclude on December 31st, 2026.
A lifelong resident of Todd County, Griffin recently retired after a 26-year career as manager at McGee Pest Control. He currently resides in Elkton’s Dunheath community.
The council and Mayor Arthur Green expressed their anticipation in working with Griffin to continue the city’s progress.
He will be officially sworn in during the next council meeting on December 11th, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Elkton City Hall.
