In honor of Veteran’s Day next week, Todd County Central High School will hold its annual Veteran’s Day event Friday, Nov. 7.
The school will hold a free breakfast for a veteran and one guest Friday morning beginning at 8 a.m. in the cafeteria, directly followed by a special program beginning at 9 a.m. in the school gymnasium, open to all friends and family.
The program will feature student involvement, including a presentation by the school’s JROTC, as well as a guest speaker. Last year’s program also featured the 101st Fort Campbell Airborne Division Honor Guard and the South Todd Elementary School’s student choir. TCCHS principal Lee Quarles writes the school is so thankful for all the community’s veterans for their service and dedication to the country.
