A home on North Ewing Street, known as the Guthrie Castle, was damaged in a fire Monday night.
Guthrie Firefighters say they were called to a fire on the second story of a balcony and found the homeowner attempting to extinguish it with a hose.
The fire was quickly extinguished with very little damage to the home.
Guthrie firefighters were assisted by Elkton and Trenton fire departments, along with Guthrie Police and Todd County EMS.
