The Clifty School Park committee hosted a ribbon-cutting Friday night to mark the new multipurpose building constructed on the northern Todd County park property.
Park President Billy Strader said the project took about six months to complete, but the community is excited to have the facility.

Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield was impressed with the building.
The funds for the building’s construction were awarded to Todd County Fiscal Court as a part of HB 1, approved in 2024, for improvements to Todd County parks and the TCCHS Tech Center. The court awarded $307,275 to Clifty School Park for the construction costs.
Sixteenth District State Representative Jason Petrie was the driving force behind getting Todd County funding and told Your WEKT News Edge that this building was needed by the community.
Keystone Construction completed the construction.
