A traffic stop on Guthrie Road at Frogue Road resulted in a pursuit with law enforcement in Todd County on Sunday.
Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Derek Baumann says he attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Robert Brewer of Big Sandy, Tennessee, for failing to dim his headlights, and he fled.
The pursuit reportedly reached speeds of over 100 mph before Brewer surrendered on Glenn Court in Elkton.
Brewer was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, failure to dim headlights, reckless driving, DUI third offense, possession of meth, and first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer.
Elkton and Guthrie Police assisted during the pursuit.
