Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield announced that the Maton Road Bridge will be closed on Thursday for engineering work.
The bridge will be closed for a few hours to begin the geotech work for a new structure.
In June, Todd County Fiscal Court was awarded over $542,000 to replace the bridge with a stronger, safer structure. Governor Andy Beshear announced the award, with funds from the County and City Bridge Improvement Program.
