A student riding a bicycle was involved in a minor collision with a pickup truck Tuesday morning on West Main Street in Elkton.
The incident occurred around 7:45 AM as the student, riding on the sidewalk, pulled into the path of a truck exiting the Todd County Middle School parking lot. Elkton Police Department officials said the student did not see the vehicle coming to a stop because bushes blocked the view.
After a checkup from Todd County EMS, the student was released to his parents’ care for a minor leg injury. The driver of the truck was unharmed.
