Mr. David Wayne Dossett, age 63 of Claymour, KY, passed away 6:19 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Graveside services will be Tuesday August 26, 2025 4:00 p.m. at McColpin Cemetery in Allegre, KY, with Rev. Larry Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in the McColpin Cemetery. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of arrangements.
David was born February 27, 1962 in Elkton, KY. He was retired from Ardco and had worked at Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY and TRAD in Hopkinsville, KY. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Allegre, KY. David loved watching NASCAR. He is preceded in death by his father Dorris Wayne “Douger” Dossett.
He is survived by his wife Melinda Epley Dossett of Claymour, his mother Marilyn Dossett of Allegre, KY, his sons Joshua Dossett and his wife Ashley of Elkton, and Dustin Dossett and his wife Whitney of Auburn, KY, his brothers, Buck Dossett and his wife Regina of Elkton, Greg Dossett and his wife Amy of Russellville, and Jason Dossett and his wife Holly of Cadiz, KY, his sister Lisa Gant and her husband Jack of Allegre, his grandchildren Millie, Crosley and Raylan Dossett.
