A toddler was flown to a Nashville hospital after being run over by a wagon on Bells Chapel Road in Todd County Friday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say the 1-year-old fell off the wagon and was run over by one of the wheels.
A helicopter was called to the scene, and the child was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Deputies say the child was alert and conscious when they arrived.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Todd County EMS, Fairview Fire Department, and Todd County Rescue.
