Five 4-H students traveled to the University of Kentucky this weekend to represent Todd County in 4-H’s State Communications contest.
All five representatives earned blue ribbons, and four students placed top three in the state.
Todd County 4-H Extension Agent Lee Ann McCuiston says earning a blue ribbon is an incredible accomplishment at the state level, and something that is no easy feat. She adds that the students showed poise, preparation, and passion at the competition, and she is so proud of Todd County’s amazing student representatives.
The following students brought home the blue for Todd County:
Delaney Powell
Dayton Powell: placed second in her class
Ella McCuiston: placed second in her class
Ava Mayes and Milly Dossett: placed third in the team demo
