Library’s Summer Reading Program Continues With Science Show

The Todd County Public Library will become a science lab Friday, June 13 as part of the “Together We Can” summer reading program.

On Friday, non-profit organization Mr. Bond’s Science Guys will bring its team of educators to Todd County for hands-on, interactive science experiments and demonstrations. The group aims to make science accessible and fun for students, and the group’s demonstrations focus on chemistry, physics, light, sound, weather and much more.

The “Together We Can” initiative, sponsored by Todd County 4-H, aims to strengthen collaboration between 4-H and other community organizations to improve youth development and foster personal growth and academic success. Every Friday in June, the library will host special events that encourage reading as well as gaining knowledge in science and art.

Mr. Bond’s Science Guys will be at the library from 1-3 p.m. Friday.
