
The City of Elkton hosted its inaugural Touch A Truck event Saturday at Elkton-Todd County Park, and officials were quite pleased with the turnout.
Elkton City Clerk Kayce Bright said a large number of families with small children attended the event.
Among the various pieces of equipment, Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Darius Merritt brought out the department’s Humvee.
Todd Central FFA Vice President Nathan Phelps was among those on hand, showing off their equipment.
HES energynet sponsored the bike giveaway, O’Reilly Auto Parts provided the hot dog lunch, and the City of Elkton provided lemonade and snow cones for each child made by Fat Boyz Snowballs.
