A small fire started with an air conditioning unit at the Todd County Detention Center on East McReynolds Drive Thursday night.
Elkton Fire Department Chief James Calvery says they were called for a possible fire and found an air conditioning unit on the roof that had shorted out and damaged the roof.
No one was injured in the fire.
