The Elkton Rotary Club’s annual scholarship auction continues through Saturday evening at BolingerRealEstate.com.
Over 200 items are featured in the auction this year. Some of the high-value items include a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle – 20 Year Family Reserve, a trip to Elite Island Resorts at St Jame’s Club in Antigua, a Charity Safari’s Hunting trip of a lifetime to Argentina for Red Stag and Dove for 6 people, and others.
WEKT Team Lead John Morgan Francis said the Todd County radio station donated three items to this year’s auction.
The second item is a short-term heavy advertising schedule which offers 115 30-second ads.
Francis added the third item is a six-month classic hits music sponsorship, valued at $3,275.
The three packages cannot be used alongside current advertising agreements. However, businesses that are already advertising on WEKT can purchase these packages as add-ons to their existing advertising plans.
Auction co-chair Kelvin DeBerry offered a unique way to help a business out if you don’t need them.
WEKT will be live again from 5:30 to 7:00 Thursday night for night two of auction coverage. During the broadcast, a $50 gift certificate for L&R Soda Bar and Hip Harvest, both located on the square in Elkton, will be auctioned off.
Donations are still being accepted for the Bryan Blount III, Century Club. They can be dropped off Thursday night during WEKT’s live broadcast or mailed to P.O. Box 60; Elkton, Kentucky; 42220.
