Grace And Mercy Heals Through Ministry And Fudge

Grace and Mercy is well-known for two things – its ministry and its fudge.

The non-profit organization is based in Hopkinsville, but also has a recently revamped thrift store location on the public square in Elkton.

Founder and Executive Director Joanna Mack leads Grace and Mercy in its faith-based transitional recovery home and its thrift store endeavors. She says everything the store provides goes straight into the ministry – it’s what pays for many of the women to stay at the Grace and Mercy house in Hopkinsville.

During their stay, the women work at the store between classes and activities.

As for the organization’s famous fudge, Mack says they are still refining their process and currently trying to make sugar-free fudge to sell in their thrift shops.

She adds the store just introduced charcuterie fudge boxes for the holiday season.

More information about the Grace and Mercy organization can be found on their website.
