Dr. Groves Steps Down As School Board Member

The Todd County School Board is looking to fill a vacant seat after Monday evening’s regularly scheduled meeting.

Board members voted to approve the resignation of District 3 Board Member Dr. Kelley Groves.

Groves has accepted one of the newly created Teacher Support Specialist positions in the school district.

Board Chairman Eric Harris thanked Groves for her service.

Groves has served on the Board since 2020.

The Board also voted to approve the district’s 2024 -25 working budget.

Superintendent Mark Thomas awarded the district’s September Student of the Month to North Todd student Trixie Soares and the Making a Difference Award to Todd County Middle School Cafeteria Manager Wendy Bodes.
