On Friday, Governor Andy Beshear announced the appointment of an Elkton man to the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission Executive Committee.
Eston Glover is the retired president and CEO of Pennyrile Electric and the current Pennyrile Regional Energy Agency board chair. He will serve a term through August 15, 2028.
The commission is assessing the adequacy of the Commonwealth’s current and future electric generation and transmission resources, as well as anticipated demand. They are also addressing the impact of federal policies, economic effects, grid response to severe weather, and potential new electric-generating technologies.
