

A joint investigation with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and the Todd County Sheriff’s Office led to the seizure of a large quantity of drugs and guns in Todd County Saturday.
Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force detectives say the investigation led to the seizure of over 40 pounds of marijuana, 25 guns, a large quantity of psychedelic mushrooms, a large amount of THC items, and a large sum of money.
The investigation led to five arrests:
24-year-old Caleb Bell of Elkton was charged with trafficking marijuana second offense, trafficking a controlled substance (drug unspecified) second offense, cultivating marijuana, engaging in organized crime, two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
20-year-old Maggie Cockrell of Elkton was charged with trafficking marijuana, trafficking in a controlled substance (drug unspecified), cultivating marijuana, and engaging in organized crime.
21-year-old Giovanni Capozzi of Fresno, California was charged with trafficking marijuana and engaging in organized crime.
22-year-old Theresa Mosley of Elkton was charged with trafficking marijuana and engaging in organized crime.
68-year-old Patricia Bell of Elkton was charged with making a false statement as to full consideration in property deed.
The investigation included several assisting agencies Guthrie Police Department, Muhlenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Elkton Police Department, and several law enforcement agencies from other states.
In August, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office arrested 8 people in multiple drug investigations.
