The Todd County Extension Office is hosting its first Todd County Fair for the community.
4-H Extension Agent Lee Ann McCuiston says with the new extension office, she is so excited to finally be able to have a fair for 4-H and FFA.
The Extension Office will begin taking project exhibits Tuesday, July 30. McCuiston says 4-H students can bring their projects to the office from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday or from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31.
The fair will close Thursday, Aug. 1 with its biggest day, featuring a livestock show open to any county in the state. McCuiston says the fair board has been hard at work preparing for the show to take place at the office’s new outdoor arena. She notes the space does not have panels yet, but there will still be a working arena for Thursday night’s show.
