Todd County Grand Jury Returns Multiple Indictments On Drug-Related Charges

The Todd County Grand Jury returned June criminal indictments last week, including on various charges relating to drugs.

Among the indictments returned – one for 35-year-old Jordan Quarles, of Guthrie, on a charge of first-degree complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance – greater than four grams of cocaine. The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred between August 13 and 14, 2021, when Kentucky State Police said that Quarles assisted in the delivery of approximately 294 grams of cocaine, to a post office box.

* 31-year-old Norman Detweiler, of Trenton, was indicted on charges of speeding 15 MPH over the limit, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* 42-year-old Kevin Grace, of Sharon Grove, was indicted on charges of fourth-degree assault, first-degree attempted assault, and first-degree wanton endangerment.

* 53-year-old Thomas Gray, of Guthrie, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – greater than four grams of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* 67-year-old Maggie Bellamy-Beard, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of theft by unlawful taking and tampering with physical evidence.

* 28-year-old Michela Stanton, of Russellville, was indicted on charges of public intoxication of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* 25-year-old Maurice Gaines, Jr., of Guthrie, was indicted on charges of second-degree burglary, menacing, fourth-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

* 42-year-old Robert Morgan, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of speeding 22 MPH over the speed limit, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police – motor vehicle, second-degree fleeing or evading police – on foot, resisting arrest, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree wanton endangerment – police officer, one headlight, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

* 28-year-old David Ross, of Guthrie, was indicted on charges of first-degree promoting contraband, trafficking in controlled substance – fentanyl, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree conspiracy – promoting contraband, and second-degree persistent felony offender.

* 40-year-old Lee Moore, of Clifty, was indicted on charges of a convicted felon in possession of a handgun and first-degree persistent felony offender.

* 62-year-old Sherry Stanley, of Clifty, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – over two grams of meth (firearm enhanced), trafficking in marijuana – less than eight ounces (firearm enhanced), convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* 30-year-old Angela Roberston, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – over two grams of meth on March 20, 2024, of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – over two grams of meth on April 2, 2024, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

* 61-year-old Jamie Huskey, of Clifty, was indicted on a charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth.

* 65-year-old Rickie Moore, of Clifty, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – over two grams of meth (firearm enhanced), trafficking in marijuana – less than eight ounces (firearm enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia, and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

* 39-year-old Sheila Douglas, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance – fentanyl, first-degree complicity to promoting contraband, and first-degree conspiracy to promote contraband.

* 42-year-old Clarence Williams, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree conspiracy to promote contraband and first-degree persistent felony offender.

* 49-year-old Justin Eby, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of careless driving, failure to/or improper signal, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, improper registration plate, no/expired Kentucky registration receipt, and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance.

* 53-year-old Jeanette Ruich, of Pembroke, was indicted on charges of one headlight, operating on a suspended/revoked operator license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
