Man Charged With Fleeing From Police In Todd County

A report of a domestic dispute on Clarksville Road in Todd County led to a pursuit on May 25th.

Guthrie Police say when they arrived 37-year-old Michael Pratt was spinning tires and driving recklessly away from the scene while yelling out the window.

Law enforcement attempted to stop Pratt near the intersection of Kentucky 104 and US 41 and he reportedly fled hitting a stonewall before the pursuit ended.

Police say he resisted arrest and had to be tased.

He was arrested and charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest, license to be in possession, failure to produce an insurance card, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, improperly on the left side of the road, second-degree fleeing or evading police, and improper start from a parked position. Officer Jacob Pritchett and Sergeant Eric Pickett are investigating the incident.
