120 Students Graduate From Todd County Central

Adorned in Rebel red and white, 120 Todd County Central students walked across the stage Friday evening to receive their high school diplomas.

Principal Lee Quarles welcomed a standing-room-only crowd to the Class of 2024 commencement.

Seniors Chessany Artis and Natalie Shemwell sang the National Anthem while the JROTC Color Guard presented colors. Senior Cyrenity Greenwade offered the invocation. Both the TCCHS band and choir performed during the ceremony.

Class President Abby Williams acknowledged the support of those attending and expressed her excitement for her future.

Valedictorian Alyssa Prather reflected on her time spent in high school and encouraged her classmates to live in the moment.

Charity Langley was named Salutatorian and Melanie Chamberlain was named 1st Honor Student.

Preston Stokes received the coveted Campbell Loving Cup award, sponsored by their sons in honor of Aubrey and Bertha Campbell.

Senior Aaron Brown offered the benediction.

Graduates received over $108,000 in local scholarships. Many more received university scholarships, five students received athletic scholarships, and five students committed to service in the United States military.

18 students graduated earlier Friday evening from the Horizons Academy.
