FRYSC Program Sign-Ups Open For 2024-25 School Year

Todd County’s Family Resource and Youth Services Centers are currently accepting sign-ups for the 2024-25 school year.

FRYSC Coordinator Kelli Templeman says the organization’s many programs are open to any child in the community that has a need, whether they are currently a student or not.

She encourages families to sign up by the end of June in order for the center to have time to begin making lists, sending out information and organizing throughout the four schools to prepare for the new school year.

She adds the FRYSC is always in need of general donations for resources throughout the year.

The Backpack Program is also in need of donations. Monetary donations can be made to Todd County 4-H, who collects the money and orders food for the program.

Templeman adds the center is looking to raise $6,000 for the Happy Feet program in order to provide 200 pairs of shoes for students. In addition to the annual Mother-Son Sneaker Ball, she says Elkton’s Rotary Club also does a great job of partnering with FRYSC for fundraising and will sponsor a 5K run this summer to help offset the cost.
