Todd County Central High School Alumni Spotlight: Paul Martin

Paul (P. W.) Martin is a 1989 graduate of Todd County Central High School.

Martin says he loved school and values most from Todd Central his experience playing football and simply being involved. He remembers everyone getting along at school and says race wasn’t a big issue – everyone worked together in the gym and on the football field. Martin says he will always treasure the memory of his time at Todd Central, specifically the involvement and closeness he had with his classmates. He adds they were just country kids getting along.

Martin advises current Todd Central students to trust in God as well as to be supportive and respectful to all, especially teachers.

To current educators, he says to be patient and strong. He adds it’s a different time now than when he went to school and kids have a lot of stress involving home issues and social media.

After graduating, Martin joined the U.S. Marines. He currently lives in Elkton and has one daughter, Sydnee.
