Nannie Gene Sargent Hays is a 1968 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
After graduating from Todd Central, she attended the University of Kentucky where she earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s in pharmacology. Later, Hays received a teaching certificate from Rio Salado College.
Hays was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and currently lives in Keller, Texas. She is married to Phillip R. Hays and has four children, Phillip Michael Hays, Jennifer Dawn Hays Branum, Timothy Eric Hays, and John Charles Hays.
