The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. William “Willie” Darden.
Mr. William “Willie” Darden, age 88, of Guthrie, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, at Hearthstone Place Nursing Home in Elkton, Kentucky.
“Willie” was born December 8th, 1935, in Todd County son of the late Dallas and Ima Eudene Wilkins Darden. He was retired from Koppers, a member of Tiny Town Baptist Church, enjoyed family and friends, being outdoors, gardening, and loved his dog “Snoopy”.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margie Darden and is survived by one brother Larry Darden of Brownsville, Kentucky.
Visitation with the Darden family will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Cook – Webb Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Tiny Town Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Dukes officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
