Todd County Central High School Alumni Spotlight: Bettye Krasch

Bettye Jo (Haskins) Krasch is a 1981 graduate of Todd County Central High School.

The motivation she recieved from Coach Jerri (Long) Houchins is something she remembers most from her time in school, and adds she will always treasure the memory of her friends, teachers and coaches.

Krasch advises current Todd Central students to be involved in their studies and school, as well as to join and be part of something. To current educators, she says to be understanding. She adds not to single out their students, and instead to put uncommon students together to learn about each other — it is important to stop the cliques.

After graduating, Krasch earned associate’s and bachelor’s degrees from ITT Technical Institute as well as a pending degree from Northwest Florida State College. She also attended the University of West Florida. Currently, Krasch works in information technology.

Krasch was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and lives in Pensacola, Florida. She has one son, Dakota.
