Elkton Summer Concert Series Kicks Off In May

There are several concerts coming up later this year as part of Elkton’s Summer Concert Series.

Assistant City Clerk Kayce Bright says there will be one concert every month this summer, kicking off with Devin Williams on Saturday, May 11. The outdoor concerts will take place on the lawn of the Milliken Memorial Community House. In the case of bad weather, they will be rescheduled to a different date.

Bright adds each concert will offer a different combination of food trucks.

The Bicho Brothers will perform Saturday, June 8 with food and drink by Bunz Out, The Drip Seafood Catering, Poptown Popsicles and Casey Jones Distillery.

Saturday, July 13 will be Tyrone Dunn & Kin-Foke with several DJs opening before the main performance, including DJ EB Productions, DJ Heavy R, DJ Jesid and DJ Reezy. Food and drink will be offered by Homeboy BBQ & Kingfish, The Rolling Recipe, Janae’s Italian Ice and Casey Jones Distillery.

The last concert of the season will be Saturday, Aug. 10 with Livewire. Food and drink will be by Wind City Vibez, Athena Greek Cafe and Casey Jones. Bright says she is still looking for a dessert option for that particular concert.

All concerts are completely free to the public.

Each performance will begin at 7 p.m. with food and drinks available at 6:30 p.m.
