Twenty-one first responders from four counties came together over the weekend in Todd County for a Basic Search and Rescue course.
Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith said the course lasted all weekend, wrapping up with a map/compass exercise at the Elkton-Todd County Park. He thanked Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham and West Kentucky Healthcare Coalition’s Casey Clark for presenting the training.
Among the groups represented included Todd County Rescue, Elkton Fire Department, Sharon Grove Fire Department, Trenton Fire Department, Guthrie Fire Department, Pembroke Fire Department, Bowling Green Med Center EMS, and Ft. Campbell EMS.
