The Pennyrile Foster and Adoptive Family Association is holding a “Zumbathon” event Saturday, Feb. 24 to raise money for the organization.
Leslie Vass with the Pennyrile Foster and Adoptive Family Association says the organization helps adoptive and foster parents, families and children throughout the year.
The “Zumbathon” will be the first fundraiser this year — Vass says there is no limit to the amount of spots and she is hoping to have a full house.
The cost to participate is a $10 donation. Those who cannot make it to the event but still wish to make a donation can send money via Venmo to @Leslie-Vass-4.
Vass adds she is hoping the association can offer more events in other locations throughout the nine-county region it serves. If this particular event goes well, she says they hope to expand and offer it in more cities.
The “Zumbathon” will take place at First Baptist Church in Hopkinsville in the CLC Building from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
