The Todd County Central High School Family Resource and Youth Services Center (FRYSC) annual prom dress drive is currently underway.
Youth Services Center Coordinator Kelli Templeman says every year, the FRYSC offers free prom dresses and shoes, donated by the community, for high school students who may not be able to afford a brand-new outfit.
Templeman says she will be accepting dress and shoe donations through March in order to prepare for TCCHS’s prom on April 13. She takes all sizes and students are welcome to try on dresses either at school or at home. Templeman adds she strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space.
Those interested in donating their gently used dresses and shoes can drop them off at the high school. For more information, contact the FRYSC.
