Funeral services for 66-year-old Mary Ann Lyon of Corydon, Kentucky and formerly of Todd County will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, January 9, in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at the Gant Cemetery at Sharon Grove.
Visitation with the Lyon family will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lyon passed away January 6th, 2024, at Lucy Smith Kingcare in Henderson, Kentucky.
Mrs. Lyon was born May 27th, 1957, in Illinois daughter of the late Lyle and Blanche Walker Pitsonbarger. She was a homemaker, loved her family, cooking and taking care of her home.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Lyle, Adam and Albert Pitsonbarger as well as one sister Kathleen King. She is survived by her husband Nelson Lyon of Corydon, Kentucky as well as four sons Ernest Lyon Jr. (Alicia) of Corydon, Kentucky, Josh Lyon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Matthew (Carla) Lyon of Evansville, Indiana and Joseph (Jennifer) Lyon of Corydon, Kentucky. Also surviving are four brothers Donald Pitsonbarger of West Virginia, David Pitsonbarger of Evansville, Indiana, Jonathan and Danny Pitsonbarger both of Morganfield, Kentucky and one sister Blanche Virginia Pitsonbarger of Evansville, Indiana. In addition there are seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
