Four graduates of Todd County High Schools joined the Hall of Fame during a special ceremony Saturday night at the Milliken Community House.
The inductees were recognized during the Todd County Central-Franklin Simpson basketball game Friday night and received their honors during the banquet Saturday night.
The Master of Ceremonies was Hall of Fame committee member Randall Powell, who thanked the committee for their work on selecting the inductees.
Powell said the sixth class of inductees included Nora Mae Fox who was a well-known musician and music teacher in Todd County.

The honor was received by Ms. Fox’s cousin John Robert Power.
Powell noted the accomplishments of Wilmon Moore who had a noted military career before returning home to Todd County to make his mark in the grocery business. Moore also donated the land for the city-county park in Elkton.

Members of Mr. Moore’s family were on hand to receive the award.
Lieutenant Colonel Clyde Maxwell was inducted into the class, with Powell describing him as a highly decorated soldier who later had a distinguished career in the department of defense.

Powell said the class was rounded out with Dr. Susie Jackson Riley, who was very active Todd County 4-H, had a noted military career, and worked as a dentist in Louisville.

Todd County High Schools Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Fred Harper says plaques noting the accomplishments of each inductee will hang at Todd County Central High School.
The Todd County High Schools Hall of Fame began in 2016 and has held induction ceremonies for six years, with the committee taking two years off during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
