Mr. Howard Dale Fowler, age 73 of Elkton, passed away at 8:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his residence in Elkton, KY. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Fowler and Rev. Mike Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Mr. Fowler was born on August 23, 1950, in Elkton, Kentucky. He was the plant manager at Southern Beef in Elkton and office manager at Corporate Security in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He loved watching basketball, especially the UK Wildcats. He was a US Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents Ed Fowler and Irene Harris Fowler, a daughter Alissa Dawn Fowler, a brother Larry Fowler and a sister Judy Lane Fowler.
He is survived by his wife Janie Fowler of Elkton, his son Jason Fowler and his wife Kimberly of Russellville, KY, Amy Garrett and her husband David of Lake Malone, KY, Jennifer Oyler and her husband Michael of Elkton, KY, his brother Rev. Eddie Fowler and his wife Linda of Elkton, KY and his sister Mary Ann Reid and her husband Romie, Hopkinsville, KY, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
